May is Historic Preservation Month and Fort Oglethorpe Historic Preservation Commission is partnering with the 6th Cavalry Museum on Saturday, May 1 from 11 am to 2 pm. Bring your historic photos to the museum-especially of the Army Post, the early days of the city, and lost places and events of Fort Oglethorpe for them to be scanned.
